Barcelona Workshop Summary Report
On the 7th of November 2024, C40 held a global City-Business Climate Alliance (CBCA) Workshop at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. We brought together climate and economic development leads from 17 cities, along with sustainability leaders from businesses and NGOs for a 1-day workshop on city-business climate collaboration. CBCA Updates | Dallas Kick Off The First City-Business Climate Alliance
Dallas partnered with CBCA to launch its first Business Climate Leadership Group. Working closely with strategic local businesses, the objectives of this leadership group will be to amplify climate efforts and increase city resilience. Sharing experiences, exchanging peer-to-peer knowledge and best practices with businesses, the leadership group will also support Dallas Comprehensive Environmental & Climate Action Plan (CECAP) “to promote a vibrant, healthy, and resilient city,” as announced by Mayor Eric Johnson.
